bent into shape....

well, yesterday didn´t go all according to plan, but it is all good now because marci made it and we were there with PLENTY of time to spare! jodi and i got there at 9am, woken up extra early so we could get there with plenty of time to meet marci at the airport by 930...we got there and checked in with american airlines to see where we could exactly meet marci, and they told us that her flight was delayed by 3 hrs and wouldn´t be getting in, until 1245pm...jodi all of a sudden said, you had your phone on, right sarah?, i replied, umm...no, i can have my alarm on while my phone is off...she started to get a bit upset knowing that marci DID leave me a message the night before explaining that her flight was going to be delayed...we could have gotten a few more hrs of sleep in addition to not spending all morning at the airport waiting around.it was a good bonding experience and we worked through the fight..hehe..i leearned to let jodi cool off and have her time of silence...she got a magazine and a sucker to ease the pain.when it was finally time to go meet marci at baggage claim, we totally got our cameras out and were so excited to snap some pics of our bestest friend meeting us finally!ohh but wait..there is more...we ended up waiting a few more hours because marci´s bag ended up NOT leaving the US! it was still at the new york airport!! she had to stand in line and give her paperwork/complaints to good ole american airlines...after we finally waited, we saw marci walk through the doors with her two fingers in a gun shape pointing to her head, while she quoted "get me outta here...i don´t want to be in this airport"..."i hate american airlines and they are getting a letter from me"..HAHA don´t mess with the former miss kenosha-miss western wisconsin-miss wisconsin west-miss west allis..all four!!ok...we had a good day overall and got some tapas and sangria, after making a shopping stop to h&m for a few clothing items for marci...we also made another pit stop to a piercing place...jodi and i both got lasting souvenirs!!more to come on that!! off to see the sites of barcelona..tomorrow we leave for madrid...adios!
