half way!

greetings all...
seville was so cute and a lot of fun (i thought)..the flamenco dancing the night before was so much fun..marci and i got a picture with one of the guys after the show in his street clothes right before he jetted off into the night...seville was dreadfully hot, so jodi and marci were exhausted after we took a bus tour the next day in the afternoon (which they both slept on after paying 15euros), but i stayed awake...i liked it in the fact that the bus was air conditioned, but i didn´t like it in the fact that it was hard to get out and take pictures, etc...the el catedral was amazing and didn´t know it was the biggest cathedral in europe..i believe.it was gorgeous. we had some more paella which did not fail our tastebuds..yum.

we arrived back in barcelona last night after a 14hr train ride-it was a long one!it should have only been about 5, but this train was the only one that was open when we booked it at the station the day before. it makes a lot more stops than the other fast trains.anyways,after checking into our hostel (the one we stayed at our first night in barcelona), we took the train to las rambles street where we went for the third time to this little tapas bar to have a late dinner...midnight..and ate our last meal with marci..i overdosed on croquetes. too good, but had to get my fill before we leave spain for good...oh yeah, marci also bought a really cool painting of a bullfighter...

this morning, we went to the airport and picked up marci´s bag from the ¨flight help¨building where they held her bag that she NEVER got (don´t fly american airlines) just in time for her to check it again on her trip back to the states, but grab some clean clothes to put on for her long trip home. it was sad to say goodbye, but we had a good time, it went too fast. jodi and i were planning on going to the beach today since we saw a lot in barcelona with marci, but we had to figure out the whole ferry thing to rome from barcelona...we found the port, waited for an hr and a half and booked a boat ride tomorrow afternoon that is a 19hr boatride to rome (it would have been a 26hr train ride) so that will definitely be interesting...trying to sleep in 2nd class,but we will manage. excited for rome, i know it will be hot, but so many exciting sights to see ahead. only 3 weeks left, but i feel it is still a lot of time, but know it will go fast.
