feels like home...don't want to leave!

hey all...
tuesday, jodi and i decided to spend the day at the beach across from our camping site without hanging out with the boys. it was a good time to just relax and journal in a quiet, low key beach setting compared to the day before. anyways, we took the bus into town at 6:30 and had a nice greek dinner...souvlaki and tsatsiki/bread..with some greek salad...i will miss the food!can you tell?
when we were waiting for our bus, a tall, model looking man came walking to us in a yellow shirt and greeted us, it was augustino! the night before, billy (his brother) had told us that augustino had left for a few days to a different island...well, apparently the language barrier caused some kind of a miscommunication because he was back on the island...i felt it only necessary to greet him with a nice american hug! anyways, we talked for a bit and then he went on down the street. sure enough, a few minutes later we saw billy and robbie come along and were chatting for a few min while we were waiting (still!-our camping site had no clue on sticking to a time schedule!) for the bus to leave (remember, our camping site is across the island from the main port where parikia was).

yesterday, jodi and i spent our last full day in greece..our boat wasn't leaving until 1:30 in the morning, so we packed up early in the morning to take the bus to parikia and stay there the whole day! our plan was to leave all our bags at augustino and billy's apartment so we didn't have to lug them to the beach and everywhere else we went. both of them were supposed to be working, but they ended up not going into work because their boss didn't "feel" like going to work yesterday. see, here's another reason why i wouldn't mind living on paros...if they don't feel like going to work, they call in and say "i'm not gonna make it this morning, i was out late..." and it's accepted!...what?ANYWAYS, we had breakfast at our FAVORITE place, called the Love Cafe..we'd eaten there four times before and had the same waitress every time. After, we went to the beach with Augustino, Billy, Adi, and the other cousins to spend the day playing beach volleyball and hanging out...another AMAZING day, and spectacular way to end our time there. All the boys have been so great to jodi and i and have really taken care of us. Augustino and Robbie went to get us souvlaki yesterday for lunch and brought it back to the beach...he had gotten an extra one and gave it to me..man, i was stuffed.in.my.suit. ;)

We then went with the guys to their five on five soccer game, more like a scrimmage because their season doesn't start until the winter...it was so much fun to see a game and of course with all the new friends we've made. good players! after, we took showers and all the guys and us went to the beach after where they bought us drinks and pizza that we all ate on the beach...around 11:30pm!.

My guess is you two needed to get away from Greece just so you wouldn't wind up in a My Big Fat Greek Wedding saga. What kind of wine did you wash down all that good tasty food?
